  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • ½ cup frozen blackberries
  • 1 whole banana frozen or frozen
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 scoop protein powder chocolate flavored
  • 1 cup almond milk

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.

Notes

  • Use the right amount of frozen fruit for a creamy smoothie. Not enough and you'll end up with a watery consistency.
  • Freeze your fresh berries and use them for smoothies.
  • Don't use ice because it will result in a watered-down smoothie.
  • For a creamy smoothie use a high-speed blender like a Vitamix or a Nutri Bullet.
