Air Fryer English Muffins

Air Fryer English Muffins are healthy and delicious! Toasting your muffins with no but or oil is a healthy way to enjoy this breakfast classic.

  • 1 English Muffins
  • Cooking Spray (Optional) I use avocado oil cooking spray

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes.
  • Use a fork to split the English muffin in half. Place them cut side up in the air fryer basket.
  • Spray the muffins with avocado oil or melted butter if desired, and toast for 3-5 minutes.
  • Serve with your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • Fork split - Use a fork to pierce holes around the English muffin to pull it apart. If you use a knife, it will flatten all of those nooks and crannies.
  • Keep a watchful eye- All air fryers are different, so pull out the basket around the 3-minute mark to check for the doneness you want.
  • Don't overcrowd - If you place too many muffins in your air fryer, it won't cook evenly. There needs to be enough space so the hot air can circulate properly. My air fryer can toast three muffins at once.
  • Avocado spray- I spray my English muffins lightly with an avocado oil spray so they get golden brown and crispy.
