Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets 5oz each

Teriyaki Sauce

  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated
  • 1 teaspoon garlic grated
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 1 teasspoon sesame seeds
  • ¼ cup water mixed with 3 tablespoons of corn starch

Instructions

  • Portion salmon into 5oz fillets.
  • In a small saucepot, combine all of the Teriyaki Sauce ingredients together with a whisk. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 4 minutes. Set aside to cool.
  • Spread ½ of the marinade on a casserole dish and place salmon on top. Coat the salmon on all sides and let marinate flesh side down for 10 minutes.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper and place salmon skin-side down. Cook for 10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 140°F
  • Remove the salmon from the airy fryer. Top with more teriyaki sauce, sesame seeds, and sliced green onions.

Notes

Teriyaki Salmon Oven Instructions: Place marinated salmon fillets on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake in the 375°F preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fillets. Baste the salmon with the reserved marinade every 5-7 minutes during baking to keep it moist and flavorful.
Teriyaki Sauce: Our homemade teriyaki sauce is great, but you can use a store-bought teriyaki sauce to save time.
Frozen Salmon: Frozen salmon will take 15-20 minutes to cook in the air fryer. Bast the salmon every 5 minutes with teriyaki sauce.
