Notes

How to save a smoothie for later

  1. Make a large batch of this smoothie and store it in 8-ounce glass jars with airtight lids. Mason jars work the best.
  2. Fill the glass jars to the top and secure them with a lid to limit air and prevent oxidation.
  3. Tip: Preserve the vibrant color by adding citrus juice to your smoothie.
  4. Refrigerate and consume within 1-2 days.

Smoothie combinations or add-ins

  • Avocado - ¼ of avocado can add healthy fats and creaminess
  • Oats - try using oat milk in place of almond milk for a different flavor
  • Greek Yogurt - adds more protein and creaminess
  • Protein Powder - pick your favorite flavor chocolate is delicious
  • Spinach - a great way to pack more healthy veggies into your diet
  • Orange Juice - high in sugar but so tasty in a fruit smoothie
  • Honey - a great alternative to maple syrup
