- 1 Turkey carcass cut into pieces
- 1 onion halved
- 3 carrots roughly cut into large pieces
- 3 celery stalks roughly cut into large pieces
- 1 teaspoon black peppercorns
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 bay leaves
- Sprigs of fresh thyme, sage, and rosemarry
- 8 cups water
Preheat oven to 425° F. Place turkey bones onto a roasting pan and cook for 45 minutes in the oven.
Place all ingredients inside Instant Pot and cover with cold water. Secure the lid and cook on high pressure for 1 hour.
Natural release for 30 minutes to release the pressure. Strain bone broth through a fine mesh strainer into a large bowl.
Transfer to large mason jars and cool down to room temperature before transferring to refrigerator or freezer.
